The UK flight went smoothly. Of course, I have no place to stay yet, so I'm wasting a half hour at an internet cafe.

Don't I sound cheerfully international :)

I am SO JETLAGGED... soon I should get my hotel room, and I will chill out.

On one hand, I really wanted my room right away, to get in and relax and calm down. But on the plus side, not having it immediately forced me to go into downtown Oxford and wander around. Which was probably good.

It really is beautiful here :)

And I've found that Starbucks, McDonald's, Burger King, and Border's are truly international. Of course, nothing opens until 11 on Sundays. :P

I had something else I wanted to say but I'm too tired to remember. I'm going to surf for a little bit and see if my room is ready yet.

Oh, and just because I'm using a keyboard that can type pound and euro symbols : ££££ €€€€

Except for one thing . . . they don't cop out and serve "baked" pies, but have fried ones.

The McDonalds is better... they do stuff the old way... Have a few fried apple pies and an ice cream.

Sorry to say, however... COKE sucks there.

Watch your money. The pound is beating the dollar at the moment.

Make sure you visit stuff while you're there. Goldurnit -- I have lots of pics of pagan shrines, but no names.

We avoided all the restuarants after the Mexican fiasco we had in England. Mexican food in England was awful; I swear they seasoned it with flour. Even the stuff they warned us was hot, wasn't even close.

My favorite places to eat were in Camden town. I love the little noodle bars. Spicy, cheap, & filling. What more could you want?

I wish we had something like that here.

The camden town markets are open earlier then that on Sunday.

Can you tell we stayed in Camden?
