Notes of importance:

1) Happy 1-year anniversary to N and I :) :)

2) My plane for England takes off at 7:05 tonight...

pros:
It's only for 3 weeks
New office
Get to work with my 2 programmers
D is out in Oxford already, so I have a familiar US face there

cons:
Stupid hotel in the middle of nowhere
Don't know route to new office, or route out of hotel, or route to get... anywhere, really
I'm going to miss home for 3 weeks

Plus I have supervisory-type stuff to deal with - giving reviews, conducting an interview or 2, training presentations, etc. My boss says "Play nice with the Project Managers." I said "I'll try." He said "No, don't *try*, play nice!"

I have other apprehensions, too, that I will try to post later. For now... more packing!
