Nov. 10th, 2008 10:45 amI have 8 more work days and then vacation from November 20 - Thanksgiving. Woo! Is anyone getting into any trouble around that time? Or interested in a house guest? I have my evening class on the 24th, and of course T-day in Columbus with the parentals, but I have scads of free time. I also have scads of projects I need to get a move on at home, but I figured I would see if there was any trouble to be had around that time.
In other news, yes, I voted. I tend to keep my nose out of politics, except at home (where The Beau can rant for hours about politics, religion, and public policy. I generally just listen and nod, as a) we tend to agree and b) he tends to have done a lot more research than I), hence the lack of posts around Election Day :)
In other other news, thanks to a 15-point curve (which was simply the amount of points extra needed on the highest grade - which was mine, as you will see - to make it a perfect score), I received a 100% on my Psych and the Law midterm. The test was difficult, I thought, though I also thought it was a good test. Lots of questions, lots of involved questions, but all relevant to the subject material and all on points that we should have known. I didn't think I did that well, as there were a lot of questions on which I had to use guesswork (the test was 120 multiple-choice questions), but apparently I'm good at that :)
In triple other news, I'm still contemplating running in the Turkey Day race in Cinci. It's 10K, which is a lot for me. I have until the 21st to decide, which is when online registration closes (let's face it, I'm lazy, and if I can't register online, I'm probably not going to). My running is going really well - I can run 1.25 miles straight now - and I have obviously lost weight (my pants are looser). But 10K is pretty far. So I'm still deciding.
Anyways. Back to work!
