Jan. 6th, 2008 01:56 pmFinished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at the end of last year...
This year so far I've finished:
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (J.K. Rowling)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (J.K. Rowling)
(Ok, I LOVE the series, but the last book did make me cry.)
The Hellbound Heart (Clive Barker) - the basis for Hellraiser. Creepy little tale, quick read.
We3 (Grant Morrison) - short little comic, brilliantly illustrated, will make you want to kick people who abuse animals, happy-ish ending that made me cry. Morrison writes some f'ed up shit.
Swamp Thing Vol. 1: Saga of the Swamp Thing (Alan Moore) - comic compilation of early issues. Because it's an older series, the illustrations carry the classic design and colours of the 80's... makes me miss my old Doc Strange's :) It's a fun series, so far, and there's character carryover of Matt and Abby Cable (and Anton Arcane) into Neil Gaiman's Sandman series, which is freaking brilliant.
