Well, not quite 50 chargable hours this week, only 49.75. But I'll be working this weekend.

I had a dream last night that I was getting on a plane and going back to England. My work hadn't set up any transporation... but I wasn't worried. I knew the buses and the cabs and the atm's and I didn't care. It's really, really WEIRD how freakin' much I miss England. I think it's completely psychological - it was the first Big Thing I've ever done, first time I was really On My Own, but still had a boatload of responsibilities to fulfill.
I know that sounds silly... there's tons and tons of people that walk into Big Things all the time, and they look at people like me and think "man, what's *her* problem?" ... I shrug at them :) I know me, and I'm just not built like that.

There may be a slim chance I could go back (for work-related purposes)... our UK office is getting a new programmer at the end of September. I'm a crappy trainer, I know it, but to have a chance to go back... all expenses paid... I would be the best damn trainer I could be :)

I'm in an odd sort of space tonight.

Oh - scarybaldguy - there's new job listings (like I said, every week :) ) for my company.
