Anarchy - When I went to the Governor's Scholar Program in junior year of high school, I roomed with a girl named Tosha. We were probably polar opposites in many ways, but we got along extremely well. Our favorite in-joke was that of making fun of Anarchy, and we signed our names with the "a" in each like this: http://www.stickergiant.com/Merchant2/imgs/250/c1873.gif.
Annelids - what every spell check wants to change my name to.
Ankh - I love Egyptian mythology, and I have an ankh that was given to me by my stepfather, purported to be from Egypt.
Architecture - What I originally wanted to get into until I realized I couldn't do trig or statics. I absolutely love old buildings and buildings with interesting layouts.
Afraid - I have stupid fears about the unknown, which have always dissipated upon "doing" instead of "worrying."
Astronomy - the subject I studied at the above-mentioned GSP. I have a picture of the moon that I took myself, looking through the lens of a telescope that I built with my own two hands.
Gold - symbol is Au ;) I have an inordinate fondness for the Periodic Table, in part due to the degree I earned in Chemical Engineering. Also my high school chemistry teacher was absolutely wonderful, and I found Mendeleev to be pretty smart, in that he predicted the eventual discovery of then-unknown elements.
Academia - I love learning and I love the people who continue to learn of their own free will.
Athens - Ancient Greek culture continues to fascinate me. Architecture, mythology, cultural roles, everything.
A∴A∴ - Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law. Thelema still interests me.
